Panorama Point Nusa Lembongan sits right on the main road climbing out of the harbor, and the payoff for a two-minute uphill ride is a view that stops most people mid-scooter: red-tiled village rooftops below, the wide curve of the bay beyond that, and Mount Agung sitting on the horizon across the strait like it’s been placed there on purpose.

1. Getting to Panorama Point Nusa Lembongan
From Jungut Batu Beach, this is about as easy as detours get roughly 1.1 to 1.3 km, a 2 to 3-minute scooter ride up Jalan Raya Jungut Batu, the main road connecting the harbor to Mushroom Bay Nusa Lembongan. The road is fully paved and in good condition, but it climbs steeply with a few sharp bends right near the top, so take the last stretch slow, especially if you’re still getting used to a rental scooter.

The view breaks down into three distinct layers, and it’s worth taking a minute to actually pick them apart rather than just snapping a photo and moving on. Closest to you, the red rooftops of Jungut Batu village sit tucked among the trees. Past that, the bay opens up white sand, turquoise water, a mix of traditional outriggers and modern speedboats moving in and out of the harbor. If you look toward the outer reef with a bit of patience, you can usually pick out surfers riding the Shipwrecks break, tiny figures against the swell. And behind all of it, Mount Agung anchors the whole scene from across the water on the Bali mainland.
It’s the kind of view that changes with the light sharp and clear in the morning, hazier and more golden by late afternoon. Either version works, honestly, they’re just different photos.
3. Cost and Access to Panorama Point
There’s nothing to pay here. No ticket booth, no parking fee, no checkpoint, you just pull your scooter onto the gravel shoulder along the public road and take in the view. Because it sits on an open highway, technically it’s accessible any time, but for actual visibility (and reasonable safety navigating the climb), stick to daylight hours, roughly 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM WITA.
4. Where to Stop for a Meal
A few local businesses have leaned into the view rather than competing with it wooden decks and open-air cafes now line the cliff edge, letting you eat lunch or grab a coffee without giving up the panorama.
